Seatmaps are a very bad indicator of actual sales... also the availability display very misleading... a flight that shows sold out in one bucket when queried as FRA-XXX miracoulously opens up if you query it from a hub of a competitor like AMS/CDG/LHR. Until recently availability was controlled by point of sale, (eg you could get K on a segment ex Germany with an agency account in France), this month they switched to point of origin. That should sort out some POS issues EF had.
So for outsiders like us who have no access to actual RM queries we have to do a set of queries to better guesstimate loads. Hence the
