The free night in an HIX did say any one globally. I would be happy to accept that as long as I could book it somewhere where rates are ridiculously high - e.g. London Victoria when its £200 a night etc as opposed to the Metro Centre when it's £38 a night.
This. The free HIX night is worth far more than 25000 points if used when rates are high. We stayed at HIX Seattle in the summer and the daily rate was over $250. The one night we booked on points cost 40000.
I put this as my first choice in the survey.
