The free night in an HIX did say any one globally. I would be happy to accept that as long as I could book it somewhere where rates are ridiculously high - e.g. London Victoria when its £200 a night etc as opposed to the Metro Centre when it's £38 a night.
It also said up to 25,000 points in year four for the points option. Spire is now 2.5 years old. Any changes now would be for the choice benefit for 2019 and by that time anyone who has been Spire since the start would be looking to make their fourth choice benefit so in theory it would still be 25k. Unless they reset everyone to zero which is possible, this is IHG.
