Does it actually charge you or does it just take an authorisation hold? Most places take holds at start of rental and then charge at the end
Either way, unless there is a cancellation rule associated with the booking that would impact this, then you would get the money returned if it has been charged
I’m sure it’s just the authorization amount, but at major locations, that first charge comes up when I rent the vehicle l. At the local editions, they sometimes run it in the morning the day of or even earlier, and I also get a notification of my assigned vehicle and a rental receipt, so I didn’t know if I could still back out at that point, since it considers the vehicle checked out to my knowledge.
