I got denied for the Premium Rewards last night with online application. Just spoke to rep at reconsideration and she said it's due to too many new cards. I've had the Merrill card since 1990s, but no other card. So BOA is definitely denying based on my new cards with other issuers. I asked if they wanted to shift some credit from my Merrill card, but she said that would not help.
