All I can say is that I am very disappointed in what I am reading on this thread.

It makes me think twice about whether or not I should post mileage-earning advice, opinions, recommendations, or other information that could be stolen by another member for profit without contacting me first for permission.

I wasn't in on the gift-card discussion, but over the years I've been involved with quite a few threads that practically turned into full-blown travel guide chapters by the time they were done. I wonder how common this practice is...
