The main reason that KL is so popular at the Freddies over the past 2 years is because they gave away millions of miles in that famous mile match promo in early 2002. It's not all because of the great program they have (it's not bad but there are better ones out there).

Since AF rewards are lower than KL in most cases, you will never get a ratio in favor of KL. At most you will get a 1 for 1.

Another point to keep in mind is that AF is the strong side in this merger.
