ps9A, thank you for the detailed report. Your description of the beach condition concerns me. Have been to FSLG many times and the beach has a few broken pieces of coral, but nothing that impacts the overall magical experience. I'm very much the 1-swim in ocean, 2-have a drink, 3-nap on beach, 4-rinse and repeat type of guy when in Maldives and having a less than stellar beach soils the whole prospect of going (have my first trip to the St Regis booked on points).
Did you check out the food options that come with the SPG Kids Pass? My 8 year old is the type who would happily bankrupt me eating sashimi all day, would be nice to have a prix fixe option for him so long as its not crap like chicken tenders and macaroni.
