I'm considering booking a single day transcon mileage run with an extremely tight connection (39min) and a very short (90 min) turnaround. If I miss the tight connection (39 minutes @ ORD), will UA give me the ORC for the entire flight and let me turn around and head home since I won't make my original return flight?
