Don't all of these Charter One schemes entail going physically to banks, post offices, standing in lines, etc.?

Are any of them really free? (By "free" I mean requiring near-zero time commitment to earn the miles. I could care less about a $1-2 fee, but as much as I like 5,000 miles, that's only worth about fifty bucks in terms of 2004 dollars to me, so I'm not standing in line very long or driving all over town to get it.)
