Not sure if this is the right thread to ask this question, so please forgive me if it's misplaced.

I am looking to upgrade a flight from Premium Economy to Business. I can bid for an upgrade and will get reimbursement for it and/or I can use my eupgrades to upgrade. What happens if I bid for an upgrade (which, as I understand clears at T-72h) and also try to use eupgrades which I can do T-7days. Will my paid upgrade request be deleted in case my eupgrade clears or do they wait and give priority to the paid upgrade instead? As you can imagine, in this case, I'd prefer to pay for an upgrade rather than use my (private) eupgrades.

Any advice or information is very much appreciated.
