I travel here a couple of times a year (Islamabad that is) and to be honest, I quite like it. For those of a nervous disposition, it can be daunting, but get into it, and there are some great restaurants, and the hotel I stay at (Marriot) is top notch.
The staff are only too willing to be of assistance, and oh so friendly.
