AA: YVR-PEK via LAX ~$1970USD I have booked one
American is offering Vancouver via LAX to Beijing for 1970 US dollars. The bad news is you have to stay over in Beijing for five days. I also posted the Hainan fare where you earn a significantly more EQM bonus miles if you credit to AS MileagePlan as oppose to these AA flights. And the HU fare is only slightly more expensive.
I don’t think routing through ORD or DFW is possible out of YVR because there isnt enough time to catch the flights to China.
For those wanting to attain Alaska airlines elite status these are all very good options. I personally would take the Hainan flights because of the 200% EQM bonus. I have booked One of the HU’s and one of the AA’s. HU J is also much better where you get turn down Service. I’ve never had a bad HU Flight.
