Yep, it was trialed during the summer and resulted in an increase in NPS, hence why it was agreed to in the first place. FAs like it because it simplifies service and allows them to (more often) serve the whole aircraft instead of just a portion, which was apparently a driver of complaints.
So basically the people who didn't get drinks were unhappy enough to outweigh the people who did get full service?
Seems like a very strong argument to do full service in C+ and reduced in Main Cabin, as it also strengthens the differentiation.
