It just seems odd that they would count two applications 2+ months apart as duplicates, especially when the first card is closed.
Not sure that it is worth calling about, just a bit annoying.
Prior to the 2/3/4 policy there was a common understanding that no more than 1 Alaska personal in 90 days/3 months, we did see BofA deny people for a 2nd card within that period, i personally believe that the 2/3/4 policy is an incomplete theory/policy that needs more data/details.
One more thing to keep in mind for future apps; one would need to close their existing Alaska card personal and business to apply for a new one.
