I stayed 3 nights in the LA area - in 2 different Marriott hotels - and had good outcomes at each. Netted 2 $100 Bonus bucks.

June 3-5 Anaheim Marriott Suites - I had to ask for the Bonus Bucks at check-in and was told that they don't issue them. I noted my reservation (which I had printed out and handed to them) specifically mentions them, so she checked with a supervisor who said they needed time to prepare them. They were ready the next morning. Paid $40 extra per night $139 compared to $99 AAA rate) but received the breakfast buffet as well (a $32 value).

June 5-6 Costa Mesa Marriott Suites - Was issued Bonus Bucks on check-in... no questions asked. Paid $94 and got the breakfast buffet for less than the AAA rate from the prevous hotel.

Excellent service, accomodations, buffet... everything I expect from Marriott.
