It depends. If your routes are hub to hub, probably not. If your flights are to those secondary/tertiary cities where there is first class offered, Platinum Pro receive unlimited complimentary upgrade requests. Whereas Platinum only receive the complimentary request for flights < 500 miles. I typically receive upgrades between those smaller city pairs, so it would be worth it to me. I did a MR to hit EXP this year - only because I'd like to see if having EXP will make a difference in getting those upgrades on the longer domestic flights. We'll see... there are an awful lot of EXP and CK fliers out there...
