No inventory got released at 10:30am HK time today. In the past, Cathay was somewhat reliable. The week of the 13th still has some flights showing 5F and not a single one has been released for award bookings, so I think they simply just haven't done the weekly inventory dump.
I found the same thing for sfo-hkg on 11/4. Nothing released then and F2. Called everyday and nothing opened up. Ended up departing F1 and was told no availability 5 hours before flight.
