I wake up in the morning and go to the gym that was privately booked for me for an hour. Then I go shower, and head for breakfast where my server knows what I want to eat and brings me my favorite shake.
After breakfast, I head back to my room where my bathing suit is laid our for me and my wife, and we get dressed and head down to the beach. When we get to the beach, our Bale is prepared, our sun chairs are laid out with the correct amount of towels, and two SUP's are ready for us to take out. We spend our morning on the beach, in the ocean, with our drinks in hand and a bale when we want shade.
At lunch, we head to the volleyball court on the giant grounds and hit some balls, and then we play around on the outdoor gym for 30 minutes while we hear the ocean waves crash. We then go sit down to our prepared table at the beach side restaurant and have a huge menu to choose from.
After lunch, our favorite chairs are waiting for us by the beachside lap pool, where we enjoy swimming laps and lazing around with beers in hand.
Around 3PM, we head up to the famous 3 tiered pool, where somehow they know we are on our way and already have a Bale and beach chairs prepared for us, with water just the way we like it (1 lime 1 lemon). We order cocktails from an extensive cocktail menu, and go pick out a magazine from the massive and well stocked library to read for the afternoon.
We head back to our room to have a nap on our outdoor bed, which has been prepared for us with pillows and a sheet over the cushions.
After our nap, we have a shower and head back to one of the few restaurants for drinks and dinner. Or we head to Amankila's private Bale up in the hills and have charcuterie and martinis. Or we head down to the beach and have a private dinner with the beach to ourselves.
There is just so much choice at Amankila. Between the upper pool, the lower pool, the grounds, the beach, and then different restaurants, a great and extensive food and cocktail menu, and 30 staff doting on you, it really can't compare to a private villa.
