If you’ll be in BOS several years I would just status match to Delta. The only reason I can think of to fly UA from there is if you’re close enough to million miler status. Thanks! I do expect to live in BOS for a few years (3-5?), if not more. I'm not close to million miler status on UA but (ahem) actually like their service and status programs, especially out of O'Hare. I just made Platinum on UA, so it's a bit bittersweet having to give up the perks without being able to leverage them.
