Still, it's not that far or inconvenient from the airport. I never hit a lot of traffic. What is it, maybe ten miles and I can do it in 15 minutes or so.
If you're looking for an "authentic" Mexican food experience, I recommend Las Casualitas. The neighborhood looks a little iffy at night so park on-site. The food is great. I recommend the guacamole made at your table. There's been music most nights I've been there - certainly fri/sat night. I can't give you directions but find them in thephonebook and then use Mapquest.
