I thought the same thing when I saw the email, but they were there when I just checked online. (On a side note, the website seems to be running very slow right now - took me 5 minutes to log in.)
Back home (AA flight an hour late) and on my laptop so have finally accessed the full account statement. It seems AA has sent out the same email statement as I received at the beginning of the month and the balance was pre the posting of the 2nd bonus, so apologies if I worried others.
