700,000 / 15 = 46666.66 if you transferred it out to an airline program whereas in the US it is 1:1.
Bottom line: Forget HK issued cards unless you really need one for whatever tactical reasons.
Ahh thanks. I’m going to be out there for about a year. Was hoping to get a local card as UK amex’s have that god awful foreign transaction fee but might just stick to my debit card!
