Depending on the days you're staying in Singapore you can get some good deals at the Conrad - especially the Sunday is free special (good if you're checking in on the Friday or Saturday night, stay at least two paid nights and the Sunday night is free). Of the hotels I've stayed at in SIN, the Conrad has definitely been my favourite (though I haven't gone the RC or any of that ilk....yet
). Others in the Raffles/Marina Square area I'd recommend in the price range you're looking at are the Swissotel Stamford (which has great views, and nice rooms - though the bathrooms aren't that special), or Raffles Plaza (if you want to spend a few dollars more - nicer rooms, but less view). But if you're happy at the Carlton I wouldn't worry about paying too much extra elsewhere - it's a nice hotel in a good location, and if you keep going back they must be treating you right
