You never know what might happen - you might miss the flight, the flight could be delayed, the wifi on the flight might not be working at all or way too slow, you might not need to use wifi between now and next week (all your wifi-related work is done, you're fired rendering work irrelevant etc etc).

Maybe just create a gogo account and have your credit card info saved in that account, so you can buy it faster, but don't actually buy it till you're on the plane.
