I have an upcoming short trip to London and will be checking out a few restaurants.
In addition to a return dinner visit to Hedone, we will also be dining at two starred Claude Bosi at Bibendum and a lunch at Portland. The latter was motivated based on a review on FT by uggboy. Alas, Marianne is fully booked so we will have our first visit on some other future trip.
Other non starred meals will likely include Barrafina Dean Street, and a possible visit to Mere (Monica Galetti's new restaurant after Le Gavroche).
I'm open to other suggestions but will be sure to post any notes once we are back.
I hope you enjoy Claude Bosi as much as I did! The food and in particular the service style are elegant French at its best, which I adore for a leisurely meal. I ate a la carte but will absolutely be back to try the tasting menu. I look forward to your thoughts.
