Despite also travelling with children, I've decided to book a Sixt rental anyway since the cost differential is so great.

However, unlike my past flights to FLL which all involved T1, this time I will be flying into T2. Is it possible just to walk over from there to the rental car centre to catch the Sixt shuttle? I'd rather walk 10 minutes than have to mess around waiting for a shuttle just to catch another shuttle.
