As was said above, good 'guinea pig' case for us to see, but don't envy the uncertainty for you guys.
Ticket stock was an issue because sometimes the boarding pass would only show the LX flight number rather than the UA codeshare number. So the lounge agents would check the ticket to see if it was pure LX or actually UA.
I think if the OP is denied entry they would be denied incorrectly in this case.
