Oh, Uber now allows tipping in app (UK)
Used it for the first time in a while, Friday, and in addition to giving the driver a rating, it also allows a tip of £1, £2 or £3. This means for most trips (rarely long) I need not worry about having change. My feelings about Uber the company remain very mixed, but the end to end experience is currently second to none.
