BA have a very long history of choosing cheap (by magic...) ingredients in their meals. Bresaola and Parmesan is also a perfect starter and rather healthy. A proper multigrain rather than the BA white processed nuclear bread but its all rather £££ coincidentally.

BA's continued obsession with mozzarella (is it even buffalo?) and tomato, just so happens to be cheap as chips.
I commented on one particular dish - beetroot with goat cheese. That beetroot happens to be cheap does not make it any less enjoyable for me. I said nothing about CE food in general and was not going to persuade you that CE food is good or bad or premium or not. I guess BA has a budget for CE meals, and I would assume that it is not that big, so beetroot or no beetroot there is a limited amount that BA will spend on food.
