Can someone help a noob to understand how to read the routing tables?
Examples from earlier:
319. SVG-KL/AF-AMS-KL/AF-TLS/SXB/PAR/NTE/NCE/MRS/LYS/CFE/BOD-MOW-EVN-TLS/SXB/PAR/NTE/NCE/MRS/LYS/CFE/BOD-AMS-KL/AF-IST
1. Read from left to right for the outbound, and from right to left for the inbound
2. City pairs separated by - are flights on the itinerary
3. Cities separated by / are transfer points, choose one
End points of the fare component
Transfer points (there may be other rules that skip these transfers)
Multiple intermediate points, you choose the one that suits best
Do I understand correctly that I need to start in SVG and finish in IST? I recognize airline and airport codes but what do they mean, in such order?
Yes, and see above
For example, I see LYS or MOW or TLS - could I start or end my trip there?
No, but you may be able to stop over there, pursuant to the fare rules.
