Are you set on uptown/park location? I'm not really a fan of uptown shopping. You'd be better off downtown - Jeffrey, Barneys Downtown, DSM, etc. and the Soho flagships are a much better shopping experience IMO. I've stayed at Crosby and loved it, but it might not be your style if you like more old world.
