Curious about your chargeback. Did you initiate this before or after the airbnb booking in question. If it was before, are you concerned they might cancel the booking? If after, it was my understanding any chargebacks had to be completed in a certain time period after being charged. How would this work booking say 6-8 months in advance.

I recently have made some booking for travel in the spring of 2018 and am looking into ways to recoup the 3%.

Or if it's not too much to ask....possibly a wiki on how to go about the process. I agree, it is a very deceitful business practice.
