On another note, Martini & Rossi sweet vermouth is terrible and ruins manhattans. I might bring a miniature of Carpano Antica for the bartender for my next flight.

I mean if they are making Manhattans with corn based whiskey I'm pretty sure alcohol purism isn't high on their list of priorities

They should not allow you to open your own bottles on board. I tried with just the same bottle as you are going to try
