Not giving out the BB cert seems to be the norm than the exception. I have done 2 this year and each time I had to request and insist to get the BB at check-in. I explained to the clerks that I do not wish to stop by the counter because I always use the video check-out.

I had similar experience last year during the BB promotion for the Northeast area. I checked out but forgot to stop at the counter to collect my BB. They did have the record of my stay and I was given the BB on my next stay at that hotel. From that point on I always insist on getting the BB at check in.
