Some of the hotel highlights according to TripAdvisor:

A/C Not Working
Uncomfortable/Small hard bed
Inconsistent & Poor Restaraunt service
Poor Customer Service!
Lack of Hospitality
Basic Amenities (Towels, Hand Towels, Etc.)
Plumbing & Sanitary Toilet (ability to flush toilet paper & use toilet)
Rodents in the room
Ants, Roaches, horrible mosquitos and other bugs in room
BED BUGS!
Old & Rundown
Are you asserting you found all of those things on a recent stay?

Tropical locales have bug issues. Beg bugs and rodents are never acceptable.
