I have a stay planned there in October. We're going to be in Cancun for a week with my parents and we wanted to do something special to celebrate my mom's recent retirement so we're treating them to a couple of nights at Papaya Playa. I've been hesitant to follow through with this stay and after revisiting Trip Advisor, I'm now looking at VRBO and Airbnb. Love the look of the Design Hotel in Playa del Carmen, but no kids is a deal breaker...
