Why did you ask them for a drink instead of telling them to stop acting like clowns? All you've done is empowered them further and made them think what they did was fine.
It's one thing to complain about something after having exhausted your options, it's another to complain without having taken any action at all. Sorry, but there is no sympathy to be given here.
