I would have thought that by the time you become a FTSE boss your travel would all be on the company's private jets. I seem to remember that Tesco had not just one but a whole fleet of them. I expect the CEO aeroplane was nicer than the CFO one; you know, Finest champagne versus Tesco cava etc.
