Probably when searching it was JFK-AUH and not AUH-JFK-AUH to show the availability that the NZ agent was able to see.
What I'm trying to understand is why the "Australia" and "New Zealand" (put in quotes because the agents aren't actually there) agents see different availability, and why the NZ ones see what the EY web site shows when searching AUH-xxx-AUH. If it was a PoS issue, that
could explain it all.
