I had a pleasant stay here during Christmas 2016. Agree breakfast buffet is very high quality. Definitely take advantage of the complimentary afternoon savory buffet (excellent bread, meats, and cheeses; drinks at cost).
Great complimentary kids club with huge indoor play space and very caring child minders. During German school holidays, they set up an impresseive dinner buffet just for kids in the kids club. I saw one child minder sitting one on one with my 2 year old daughter trying to feed her. Very impressive.
We took the suburban train from Munich HBF. The hotel sent over the hotel Mercedes van to pick us up at the Tegernsee train station for no charge (upon prior arrangement).
