If the OP is really spending big money - 100K+ miles on J/D/I/Y/B fares, IMHO, AA and Delta systems are smart enough to figure that out and give some special attention. If he's really deciding travel for 1500 high-mileage people, it seems AA's sales staff should be talking corporate account and benefits for the Top Person.
