I usually ask for two especially on long flights. 95% of the time the FA hands me two bottles and mentions nothing of it. Occasionally I have gotten the "just the one time I'll give you a double" or "sir only one drink at a time" I always respond "no problem i'll ring the call button in about 20 minutes when i'm ready for the next one."
