It seems unlikely that there will be a sudden flurry of J bookings at the last minute (certainly possible, but unlikely) ... so they may as well sell as many tickets as there are seats on the plane. Even if there are zero no-shows, they would still be able to accommodate everyone by giving out op-ups to J.
