My first flight in NGBC was in January 2010, DFW-MIA on a 777. My first long haul flight in business was in December 2013, DFW-LHR in NGBC. In both cases, I was excited to fly NGBC (I flew economy exclusively prior to those flights). But after experiencing true lie flat seats, I agree it's time for NGBC to be retired.
Similar experience. Flew LIM-MIA in July 2011 in the NGBC on the 763, then DFW-FRA a couple days later, too.
I remember being so excited about it. ...then trying to really sleep and being very disappointed as I slowly slid down the slope. Lol
