It's not quite the end of NGBC yet. There are still some 767s flying with NGBC, and they won't be retired until later this year or early next year. But once the last 772 is reconfigured it will be the end of NGBC for the 777 fleet.

Some personal notes about NGBC:
My first flight in NGBC was in January 2010, DFW-MIA on a 777. My first long haul flight in business was in December 2013, DFW-LHR in NGBC. In both cases, I was excited to fly NGBC (I flew economy exclusively prior to those flights). But after experiencing true lie flat seats, I agree it's time for NGBC to be retired.
