Ok thanks! I guess I better think of a backup plan since the outbound leg to NYC is already cleared.

Currently got this itin. If my only chances of space opening up is the last few days then it will be too late to ticket since I only just have enough Miles for the round trip redemption (108k)

HKG-JFK - cleared
JFK-Vancouver - cleared
Vancouver - HKG waitlisted
