Thanks! I also just found a Decathalon store 3km from the airport (next to the Carrefour Hypermarket where we're gonna grab some snacks for the trip up north). They have some pretty inexpensive water shoes/snorkel stuff too.

But you would be pretty foolish in my opinion if you would pay for airport transportation and then rented a car while on the property.
(Airport) rentals are normally pretty cheap on Mallorca. The airport transportation by the hotel not really.... a oneway just about covers a rental for 5 days to a week.
For reference - I have a 5 day rental from hertz for 182€ vs a quote for OW transportation of around 100€. RT 200€ plus a rental car for a day or two....ouch
