Considering the heat I wouldnt worry too much about the locations of the 5 star hotels. Very easy to get taxis everywhere. If you do prefer to be near the Souq/MIA/Corniche etc then Horizon Manor would be best. Not as good as the 5 stars but fine for a couple of nights.
