No reasons to fly them whether you shell out $40 or not, unless you are interested in encouraging them to go further down this road=)

What do you think they are more likely to do after their grand $1B Basic Economy campaign? Take away something from delta and southwest flyers to squeeze out their next $1B of growth? Or charge UA CC holders for their checked bag and backpack to make up for the declining revenue?
